listening to the voices in my head.

Just a quick note... I am getting excited by God's presence in my life again.  It has been missing, so I apologize to those who don't wish to hear about religion.  I'm not a fan of religion, but I am kinda a Jesus freak.

This morning at 4:30 God touched my brokenness, and the scripture used was from the old testament.  I tend to lean to the new, but this was in Deuteronomy 28.  It speaks of prosperity if u follow God's commands.  Reading a bit further I came across some verses in the the 30th chapter that explain that God's law isn't some foreign concept; it is in our minds and comes from our mouths.  We say that we seperate church and state, but that can never be true.  If I take your Corvette, who are you to impose your morals on me.  Why don't i have the right to take it?  The answer is already in you. 

I remind my kids that if you have to hide what you are doing, you probably shouldn't be doing it.  We all know right from wrong.  Those who follow the letter of the law but not the spirit, they act in vain.  If you are questioning where your life is going, perhaps it's time to sit and listen to that voice who gently leads you to the best way.  And stop trying to ignore it... it never goes away.
