Should I let you walk away,
or should I give chase?
If I follow you
will you simply pick up the pace
until we are both too exhausted
to remember the words said in haste?
Is it worth the effort,
or are we just a waste
of time, of love, of pain?
Is it worth loving you
if you don't care for me?
Is it worth loving you
if it was never meant to be?
My heart goes out to all of my friends who have gone through or are going through divorce. I also want to remind my unmarried friends that you are never more lonely, than when you are with someone with whom you feel alone. Marriage is hard work. There is no happily ever after, but you can survive if you both have the courage to try.
My sons have some wonderful friends, male and female. I am so proud of (most of) their choices. May God keep them and their future spouses in his strong embrace.
This year, Tom and I celebrate 20 years of marriage. I am proud of that, and I thank God for a husband, willing to work on our relationship every day. Date of celebration TBA...

ps. please pray for our friends who are going through tough times in their marriages. it ain't easy.
